Valley Hospital Toy Drive 2025
베이커스필드 한인봉사회(KSO)는 올해도 밸리 병원(Valley Hospital)과 함께 장난감 나눔(Toy Drive)을 진행하게 되었습니다. 11월 23일부터 12월 25일까지 장난감을 모아서, 이러한 선물을 받기 어려운 형편의 어린 환자들에게 전달할 예정입니다. 병원에서 치료를 받고 있는 아이들에게 기쁨을 전하는 데 함께해 주시는 모든 분들께 감사드리며, 도움이 필요한 이웃들에게 따뜻한 연말의 정을 계속 나눌 수 있기를 바랍니다.
We have once again partnered with Valley Hospital for the Toy Drive this year. From November 23 to December 25, we will be collecting toys and donating them to young patients who may not have the funds to receive these gifts. Thank you to everyone who will be helping us bring happiness to these children during their hospital stay, and may we continue spreading holiday cheer to those in need.
Seolnal + Golf Tournament 2025
This January, we celebrated Seolnal and had the opportunity to collaborate with the nonprofit organization We Above Me to co-host a golf tournament. The event was a great success, bringing the community together to enjoy Korean food, connect with fellow Koreans, and raise funds for a meaningful cause—all while enjoying a round of golf.
Toy Drive 2024
Once again, we gathered a generous collection of toys for children in Bakersfield, with support from Korean churches and local business owners. We successfully delivered them to Valley Children’s Hospital and Dignity Health, bringing joy to those in need.
Chuseok 2024
Once again, we hosted the Korean Thanksgiving Day (Chuseok) event to celebrate with the Bakersfield community. We shared traditional food, games, and cultural experiences, creating a wonderful opportunity to introduce and celebrate Korean heritage with the people of Bakersfield.
Back to School 2024
We purchased a variety of school supplies, including backpacks, pens, notebooks, and more, and donated them to the Dignity Health Back-to-School Program to support students in need.
Basketball Tournament 2024
We organized a basketball tournament to bring the young generation together, encouraging teamwork, engagement, and physical activity. It was a fantastic opportunity for Bakersfield’s youth to connect, compete, and build a stronger community.
Seolnal 2024
We hosted a Korean Lunar New Year (Seolnal) event to celebrate with both the Bakersfield and Korean communities. The event featured traditional foods and cultural activities, creating a meaningful opportunity to share and experience Korean heritage together.
Toy Drive 2023
